IMPERIAL SKIN

75 min€150

A holistic acu-facial, paired with acupuncture, designed to bring beauty from within, reflected naturally on the surface. What it does: Slows the visible signs of ageing Strengthens the immune system Stimulates circulation Releases tension held in the face Improves elasticity Regulates excess sebum production Restores the body's natural flow of energy Activates collagen production Reduces swelling and fluid retention (under-eye puffiness, jawline) Visibly calms skin irritation — redness, itching, acne, eczema, hay-fever related reactions Encourages clearer drainage through the sinus cavities The result: a naturally radiant complexion, achieved without a single chemical product. Because the work happens on both an aesthetic and holistic level, the benefits extend beyond the skin; mental, emotional and physical flow all improve in kind. With cosmetic acupuncture, fine lines soften and in some cases fade almost entirely. For visible refinement of wrinkles, a series of 10 sessions is recommended. Please arrive without makeup on the day of your treatment. Please note: cosmetic acupuncture is not suitable for those with high blood pressure, migraines, or during pregnancy. First-time clients begin with a one-off intake fee of €50.

What to expect?

  • 1.The first appointment starts with a consultation followed up with acupuncture. We will adress your main health complaint, food habits and lifestyle. The consultation has a one-off cost. If you have the 'aanvullende verzekering voor alternatieve geneeswijze' you could get part of the invoice reimbursed.
  • 2.Tongue and pulse diagnosis. This is a classic method in Traditional Chinese Medicine to measure imbalance. It's very different from the Western method. Could be interesting to hear from the Chinese point of view.
  • 3.Selecting acupuncture points. Each point has multiple therapeutic or local effects that restore balance of body and mind.
  • 4.Fine (sterile disposable) needles are inserted in the body. If needed, moxa-therapy will be applied in combination with acupuncture. Moxa is a traditional herbal application made of dried compressed mugwort. It is widely used in TCM and well known for its' healing purposes. In modern times usage of a moxa lamp is more common. Because the lamp radiates warmth it's a very relaxing experience.
